BBC confirms plans to launch six-part primetime music show with James Corden

Music could be returning to primetime television on BBC, thanks to James Corden. Yes, eleven years after the demise of Top of the Pops, a live, weekly music show is coming back to the BBC.

Music Week reports that Fulwell 73 – the production company Corden runs with The Late Late Show producer Ben Winston, whose work includes the wildly successful Carpool Karaoke series – will produce the yet to be titled music show.
